What was supposed to be a quick trip cleaning your dad's cabin turns into something so much more. ***** "Stop, stop." You tried pushing them away but the punches kept rolling. "What do you want? I'll give you anything, please." Jackson slowly pulled away, his knuckles bruised and bloodied from his attack. He had the proudest smile on his face, as if he'd just won gold in the Olympics "I just want you to get what you deserve baby."

Jadeyn has had a hard, complicated life. When she was 3 years old her mother took off with her, leaving behind her two sons and their father to fend for themselves. Jadeyn was a baby and doesn't remember her bothers. Doesn't even know she had a father or brothers. Just just thought it was her and her mother. On her 5th birthday her mother told her mother she was going to the meat section of the grocery store and to stay where she was. That was the last time she saw her mother. Jadeyn had to find her way in the world by herself, with no one. She had no idea she had two older brothers in the world, and she had a child to take care of - Rowen Mills. But a terrible thing happens and she lands right in the arms of a man she feels like she knows, but can't figure out how because she has never been in Chicago before. Jay got a quick glimpse of the girl in his arms, they both have the same green eyes. He can't get over the fact that he feels like he has to be there when she wakes up. That he needs to protect her. But she's hiding something. More than one thing. She's a box of secrets. What is she hiding? Why does she keep running? Find out what happens to these long lost siblings. Will they remember or will the past be too much to bare? Will Jadeyn find peace or will her past finally catch up and tear her world apart more than it already is? This story will be my own story line and all things I've come up with myself. It is not specific to any episode of Chicago PD, Med, or Fire. All the characters from the shows I do not own, all rights to the creators. But characters like Jadeyn Mills and Rowen Mills, and the bad guys and family are my own making. This story is out of the characters views. The book is mostly out of Jadeyn Mills's perspective but there are chapters with Jay Halstead and other characters as well. This book Erin is not in it Hailey Upton is, so is Greg Getwitz (Mouse) This book also has Violence, course language and some inappropriate things.

While a life threatening bacteria plagues its way through Chicago, Spencer finds out something that will change her life forever and alter her marriage with Jay. It will compromise her job which she works so hard for everyday.Nearly losing the love of her life almost pushed Spencer over the edge. Can she come back from it? CPD Intelligence. The most elite unit in CPD. The unit everyone wants to be in. Intelligence is the place people work their whole lives to get to. Everybody wants the job, but nobody knows the truth. They don't know how the job manages to weave its way into your heart and tear down your life from the inside out until it's too late to stop it. Everybody wants the job, but without the pain. When Spencer agreed to transfer to intelligence, she wasn't signing up for all the blood, sweat, tears and pain it came with. But hey, it's a package deal. Nobody is every truly a clean cop, are they? If you work under Hank Voight, you're somewhat dirty. Working in intelligence means that sometimes you have to get your hands a little bloody. A little dirty. It means that sometimes you have to cross lines. Sometimes you have to put aside your morals. Sometimes you have to flip that switch that controls your humanity and turn it off. If you don't do that, the job will eat you up and ruin you. But maybe that's why that select group of people live for that job so much. They're the ones that learned to love the pain. They're the warriors who make chicago what it is. They're the ones who built that city. They were born for it. [DISCLAIMER] I did not invent one Chicago, nor do I claim to have. I do not own the original One Chicago cast who are played by their respectable actors. I only own the rights to my independent storylines and my own characters I have created.
