HTTYD AU Astrid Hofferson has been training her whole life for this day. She is going to be given her first assignment and begin her legacy as a fierce warrior for Berk. She has a feeling that her legendary prowess will lead the Elder Council members to assign her the toughest challenge Berk has faced in decades: assassinate the Svikari. From village disappointment to feared dragon rider, Hiccup Haddock fled Berk at 16 with his dragon and best friend Toothless. Four years later, Toothless and Hiccup challenged the Red Death and became the feared Svikari. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must provide for their hungry flock of dragons, and what better revenge than to raid the villages who once despised him. ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern.
