_____________________________________ ✨THE DEVIL I CALLED HUSBAND ✨ _____________________________________ Amisha (eleven, white kurta, black skirt brushing ankles, single thick braid swinging) appeared at the archway. Her eyes were huge, confused. "Kahan ja rahe ho aap?" She twisted the end of her braid. "Sab log aapko bye bolne aaye hain..." He didn't turn. "Foreign. Padhne." Her sandals scraped closer. "Kitne din?" No answer. "Wapas kab aaoge?" Still nothing. "Aap wahan kya padhoge? Maths? Woh pulley wala?" She tried a smile. "Mujhe bhi sikha dena jab-" "AMISHA, CHUP!" The roar exploded, raw, vicious. He spun, face twisted, eyes black fire. "KITNI BAAR BOLNA PADEGA? MUJHSE SAWAL MAT KAR! HAR BAAT MEIN MUJH PAR LATKTI HO JAISE KOI GADDI HO! MAIN JA RAHA HOON AUR TUMHARA KOI HAQ NAHI HAI ROKNE KA!" She froze, braid mid-swing. "SAMJHAA? TUM EK BOJH HO! SIRF RONA AATA HAI! MOTI, CHOTI, BEWAQoof LADKI! MAIN YAHAN SE NIKAL RAHA HOON AUR TUM MERE LIYE KUCH BHI NAHI HO! KUCH BHI NAHI!" Each word was a slap. He stepped closer, towering. "AGAR EK AUR SAWAL KIYA NA, TOH AAJ HI IS HAVELI SE NIKALWA DUNGA! JAO! ABHI! MUJHSE DOOR!" Silence cracked open. Amisha's face drained white, then flooded crimson. Her lips parted-no sound. Tears spilled, instant, silent, huge. She turned. Ran. White kurta flashing like a ghost down the corridor, braid whipping behind her like a broken rope. Sobs tore out of her throat (sharp, animal, terrified). Abhiraj stood rooted, chest heaving. The courtyard blurred. His own voice echoed back, monstrous. He punched the pillar once-hard. Knuckles split. THIS STORY IS WRITTEN WITH THE HELP OF "AI",BUT STORY LINE IS MY OWN. Please read whole story.male lead have a really good character development This story is from 2000's era.but it will be not that old time one okay there will be still some moment which shows that this family have mind okay.enjoy!!

In a traditional South Indian household, family honor is sacred-until one mistake shatters everything. The wedding mandap is filled with music, rituals, and whispered pride... until the groom arrives expecting to marry the younger sister. But the bride waiting for him is the elder one. A single misunderstanding turns celebration into chaos. Humiliated and enraged, the groom lashes out in front of everyone-his words cutting deeper than any blade. He calls her an unwanted burden, an uneducated girl forced upon him by his family. But she refuses to bow. In a moment that silences the entire gathering, she slaps him. Not out of anger-but dignity. Not out of rebellion-but self-respect. With her heart in pieces, she turns to the only family she has ever known-her grandparents. The ones who raised her... but never truly claimed her as their own. Was she always just a responsibility? A compromise? As she prepares to walk away from the wedding-and everything tied to it-her grandmother makes a decision that shocks everyone. If this groom refuses her granddaughter... Then another will take his place. Bound by an old South Indian tradition, where a niece may marry her maternal uncle, her grandmother turns to her own son-the man the girl trusts the most. And asks him to marry her. What begins as humiliation turns into an unexpected marriage. What begins as duty becomes a shared destiny. But can a relationship born out of pride, pain, and tradition ever turn into love? Or will the scars of that day forever stand between them? One mistake. One slap. One unexpected groom. And a marriage that neither of them ever chose... but must now live.

╰----➜ Ashvi's life changed forever when she lost her mother at the tender age of seven. Not long after, her father remarried. Her new stepmother brought along two children of her own - a ten-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl. From the very beginning, they resented Ashvi. Perhaps it was because her father's heart still belonged to his daughter more than anyone else. In a house that should've been her safe haven, Ashvi became a stranger - a silent observer of a love that never reached her. Then one day, fate took another unexpected turn. It was her wedding day. And yet, Ashvi had no idea she was about to be married. Her life was about to be entwined with that of Siddharth - Asia's youngest billionaire. A man with power, wealth, and influence... but not with her heart. Ashvi didn't like Siddharth. And Siddharth? He didn't care. Their marriage was meant to be just for appearances - a bond only in the eyes of the world, not in their hearts. But time has a way of challenging even the strongest decisions. Slowly, silently, and unexpectedly... what began as a hollow arrangement turned into something real. Something deep. Something that proved they were both wrong about love.
