Just some of my favor poems and/or short stories

This has most of Edgar Allan Poe's poems, or short stories. I do not own the rights to any of them, just simply sharing his work!

Poppy Rose's life changed six years ago when her mother died in an accident caused by her. After grief, blame, depression and suicide attempts came a difficult case of selective mutism. Now, at eighteen, she refuses to speak due to the shame she felt for being responsible. However, things take a turn for the worst when she comes back to school for her senior year. Her life changes when a specific adult comes into the picture, a man who had no intentions of creating a problem. But the fact is, he's her teacher, as well as her cross country coach.

Madelyn Waters, eighteen, is not your typical high schooler. With a secret manipulative ability, as well as being charismatic and extremely promiscuous, she finds herself lost in a never-ending infatuation with older men. All of that stays in tact until her eyes fall upon a man with a daughter near her age, one in which she befriends to get closer to her main goal. She is willing to test her morals to no extent in order to have this man, while unintentionally discovering that buried deep within her soul is a girl who simply wants to be loved. She learns of love, rejection, and most of all, she discovers herself, while also igniting an illicit affair.

Injured, terrified, and on the run, Kisa never expected salvation to come wrapped in tattoos, scars, and steel. When she crashes-bloody and unconscious-into the garage of Slater Wylde, a brooding mechanic with a body built for sin, she wakes to more than just safety. She wakes to obsession... Slater is rough. Dangerous. Addictive. Precisely the kind of trouble she should run from, but his touch feels like protection and devotion. With Kisa's past still haunting her, she decides to lie low and enjoy a little bit of pleasure from the hands of a Wylde. There's only one problem: Slater has no intention of letting her go. Sometimes, the deadliest remedy comes with oil-stained hands and a possessive streak that burns through the soul.

A homeless, witty teen who hates everyone, is suddenly taken in by a struggling lawyer and her family, where he learns to hate them too.

"Y-you," she stuttered, staring at the handsome man sitting on the sleek black throne, "you're..." He rolled his eyes, waving his hand impatiently and said, "Hades. Come on, say it with me. Ha-des." "Hades," Ariel breathed out, still not believing the sight before her. Every picture she had seen of the gods had not depicted Hades' beauty. The god sitting before her was not a crusty old man with a white beard; no, he was a Calvin Klein model. "Yes," Hades clasped his hands together and grimaced, "the God of Death and riches; that's me." Ariel nodded, still refusing to believe but knowing she had to and Hades' grimace turned even bitter, "And you, darling, will be staying with me for quite some time." ~*~ Cover: _nymphomaniac Published: 8/6/14
