Frank Iero is a fuck up. He hates his life, he hates his school, he hates his mom, and he's determined to leave, starting a new, happier life. He's tried for years, but can never escape for more than a few days. He's simply another delinquent runaway. But he meets someone new; someone unlike anyone he's ever met before that seems to care about him. His name is Gerard. After turning Frank in, he must regain his trust and try to help him. But can he make an affect on Frank's life in time, or will he push Gerard away and do the unthinkable?

Gerard Way is your average outcast at school. He's bullied, has a couple of friends, and likes to keep to himself. Gerard is also socially awkward. It's just the start of a normal senior year of high school for Gerard. He expects it'll be exactly the same as all the previous years of school. His views on his senior year changes when he meets his new Chemistry teacher: Mr. Iero. - Frank Iero was lucky enough to be able to get a teaching job as soon as he got out of college for the dreaded subject of Chemistry teaching. He's happy with his life. His job is able to pay his bills for his small house, and he's also a guitarist and singer in his own band: The Cellabration. Frank is positive with teaching high school chemistry, that not a single student is going to give a crap about him. When he sees Gerard Way walk into his class that first day of school, he senses something special.

Gerard Way was addicted to smoking, he was 16, and he found himself thinking about his absent parents. He tried not too, but every morning he was forced to remember that he was abandoned at the age 4, as he woke up in the foster facility with his brother, Mikey. He was so busy making sure Mikey was happy, he forgot to make sure he was happy himself. He knew Mikey deserved a family and parents, but Gerard was seriously fucking selfish. He had nothing left, except the beautiful boy he once met, Frank. He had to save Frank from his broken heart, even though Frank considered Gerard to be the one who needed saving from his own addictions. Gerard's self-destruction was getting out of hand.

Frank is an angsty asshole, at least that's what he lets on to be, When Gerard becomes his roommate he can't tell if he's happy or not. Don't speak. Don't touch my stuff. Now a 3rd shift janitor at the local movie theater, as well as a struggling musician, he has to support himself and his children on his little income. Gerard Way, a single father and high school English/Art teacher in New Jersey was still struggling with the loss of his daughter's mother. The thirty-two year old man was not expecting to find love anytime soon; and he was especially not expecting to find love from one of his newest student's parents. Mature content warning. After the death of someone truly important to him, Gerard is left lonely and depressed, wondering whether or not it's worth it to keep living. One day however, Gerard meets Frank, who happens to fall out of a tree while Gerard is walking to school and nearly crushes him. The two get along quite well, even though their personalities are practically exact opposites.
