So, for those who don't know, I'm the original writer of WFL, uploaded onto GAM (Girls Aloud Media) back in the day . Once GAM shut down I gave someone else permission to upload the story here on Wattpad, something I'd never used myself at the time. However I was recently informed it had disappeared from Wattpad and the user had seemingly removed their account. So considering it's my story originally, I thought I'd just re-upload it for those who are still interested. So, here it is :) I'll try and get all of the chapters up as quickly as I can. About the story itself: Girls Aloud do not exist as a band, although Cheryl, Kimberley and Sarah appear, along with members of their families and one or two OC's. Cheryl is a popular UK solo artist, and Kimberley idolises her... but then Cheryl follows her on Twitter, and life changes drastically for them both. Unless stated otherwise, this story is written in Kimberley's point of view. *THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION - NONE OF THE EVENTS DEPICTED IN THIS STORY HAPPENED IRL* *WARNINGS - Lesbian fiction&themes/related language/sexual scenes, please do not continue reading if this causes offence* Other info: Dialogue contains typical slang/Geographically related language. Eg: Cheryl is from Newcastle, her dialogue is written in her accent.

The year is 2013 and Girls Aloud are finally simmering down into the band's retirement, still making sure to keep their close bond as friends. Deep down, however, Cheryl knows she loves Kimberley more than a friend should. And when she reads a fantastical story online written by one of their fans, she is forced to ponder the phenomenon that is Chim, realizing there is something much deeper that exists between her and Kimberley. Now, without the pressures and restrictions of being in a band together, their relationship has room to blossom. They both know they're in line for an entirely new world of difficulties as they are tested by inner struggles, outer factors, and everything in between. But as they quickly grow to realize, this impossibly true love is what they've both been missing - what they've both been needing. And as the adage aptly states, if it's worth having, it's worth fighting for. "He who dares not grasp the thorn should never crave the rose." -Anne Brontë Or in this case, she.
