This story will be my first attempt to making something good, it will contain violence/gore, sexual themes, swearing, overall it's intended for a more mature audience. Will I be adding lemon, probably idk I'll just go with the flow. I also made dog's live for 50 or more years in this story, for story purposes and so the original pup's would still be alive. He catches up with Harold, disables his car, and takes the meteor shard away. Then he meets the pups, and gives them a story to tell. Who is this man who came into town? Read, and you will find out. On a side note, the pups and Ryder are 3 years older than they should be in the show, and they age as fast as the average person. Yes, I know how dog years work, but I feel that there would be too much to add if they aged like the average dog. For the reason I decided to create this is because without having the last name; Hoffman, I wanted to know what it would feel like if I was inside the series itself. I'm sure we all do. But my last name is a bit of a dead giveaway and is not considered fictional, so that is where Hoffman came in. Anyways, enjoy the book.

Book Two of the "Long and Hopeful Journey" Series. If you haven't read the first story in the series, Race Against Time, I suggest reading it before you read this story. "Race Against Time" was focused on ChasexSkye and MarshallxEverest, but slightly more focused on ChasexSkye. This story, however, is going to be slightly more focused on MarshallxEverest.
