Iguro Obanai and Tomioka Giyuu knew each other before becoming hashiras. They went to the final selection, and got to know each other after it. Both of then eventually fell in love, and they even dated. Everything was great until they had a mission involving a lower moon. After the mission they got hashira position, but unfortunately... He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific.
