It's Halloween again! And while the adults are distracted, Finn, Fontaine and Alpheus opt to follow Ant and Madeline and have their own Halloween adventure! Fontaine is still struggling to walk in her costume, an unexpected visitor joins them along the way and why is Finn dressed as a giant pumpkin? Fontaine leads a stressful life constantly facing the perils of life under the sea, so when she finally gets a day where she can relax and not fear for her life, she's ready take full advantage of the peace and quiet. That is until an unwanted guest quite literally drops from above amid yet another failed pirate invasion of the Aronnax. But with the Aronnax on full lockdown, Fontaine is left with very few options on how to pass the time until Mad Madeline can leave of her own accord. DISCLAIMER: I don't own The Deep :)

I've been living under water all my life on a research facility, my parent said I always had a sense of adventure. I was always fascinated by what lurks in the water of the oceans, and my friend Fontaine has been as well. But she got to move around on a submarine while I was in a underwater base, but one time they left a book behind that was written in Lemurian language, but when I read it it was like I could read it fluently, like a natural language but why ?

Consider this a oneshot and continuation to certain parts of the original story from moments I really enjoyed. My love for these two recently resurged so enjoy!! I hope there are other fans of the Deep still searching for context and I would heavily appreciate any feedback :)

There is a family, the Nektons, a family of adventurous underwater explorers who live aboard a state-of-the-art submarine, the Aronnax, and explore unknown areas of the Earth's oceans to unravel the mysteries of the depths. They are in search of one of the world's greatest mysteries, Lemuria, the lost city. And to help them find it, they come across a legendary guardian that could help find the city. Could this guardian help the Nektons on their journey? Only time can tell.
