Landon bakker's life is anything but sweet, anything but gentle, anything but sincere. He deals with a controlling, overbearing, abusive, both physically and mentally, father. While having to face the fact his mother allows it to happen. Letting herself fall victim to the abuse and tolerating her son being committed to it as well. Enabling it. He takes all of it, bears it all, with a heavy heart and a vacant look. Trying to show he doesn't care, that he can take it. When in reality he's breaking. He suffers through a sport he's forced into by his father. Allowing his self to enjoy it, at least to distract himself from everything else going on in his life. To distract himself from the fact his father is in complete control of his life. That sport being Ice hockey. But one day, hes had enough. He can't take it anymore, and he decided to be a teenager. For one day at a party. Which ultimately gets him grounded. And he didn't care because he thought having a night of freedom was worth it... at first. But then things slowly started to fall apart. From his home life with his horrible parents, to the annoying and irritating guy who only over complicates his life more, to the sudden virus in town. Everything starts building up, colliding, and eventually, making him decide to either stick it out, survive it, or leave everything in the ashes. STARTED: JUNE 27th. ENDED:???

Elijah has always known who he is. Loved by two fathers, protected, visible, and fearless enough to fight anyone who questions it. Tre, his best friend, has always known too, except his love for Elijah lives in silence, tangled with gang loyalty and a life Elijah was never meant to touch. Then Ty'quan appears. Identical in face but forged by abandonment and survival, Ty'quan is the brother Elijah never knew existed and the proof that one different choice can split a life in two. When Ty'quan is mistaken for Elijah and kidnapped, the mistake ignites a chain of violence that pulls both brothers deeper into the streets. Tonic, a dangerous gang leader, does not just want Ty'quan dead. He wants him close. As obsession tightens and love fractures, Elijah and Tre are forced to confront what their bond really costs, while Ty'quan must decide whether family can save him or if the darkness that recognizes him is the only place he truly belongs. Because sometimes love protects you. And sometimes it is the reason everything burns.

Six kids in one house, and somehow he still felt invisible. Taye was always working, always stressed, always trying to hold everything together but never really seeing him. The others were the same. Busy. Distant. Like surviving mattered more than anything else. And maybe it did. But that didn't stop it from messing him up. So he learned quick don't ask for anything, don't expect nothing, and don't let nobody get close enough to leave. That's just how he became Kairo. Rude. Distant. Unbothered. Or at least...that's what everybody thought. Now suddenly, things were different. Taye checking on him. Asking questions. Looking at him like he actually mattered. It didn't sit right. "Where was all that before?" Kairo muttered one night, staring up at the ceiling, phone in his hand but not really looking at it. Because care-real care-was something he didn't know how to trust. And that wasn't even the worst part. The worst part...was him. Kairos best friend. The one person who always stayed. Always showed up. Always saw him even when Kairo tried his hardest to push him away. That was the problem. Because Kairo wasn't supposed to feel like this. Not about him.
