It's the year 2155. The end of the 21st century came with multiple changes in the way the world worked, but the most prominent of these changes was perhaps the 'Time Based Population Segregation (TBPS)' policy. This was a measure to counteract the effects of overpopulation by ensuring that only half of the world's population was outside of their homes at a given time. As of today, each individual is assigned to be either a Day or a Night person, and nobody is allowed to be outside past their assigned hours. Flouting this rule means death. Reese Wildemore and Amelia Hawthorne don't know of each others' existence until one fateful day when they meet at a train station at sunset. Sparks fly, but the two of them are rendered helpless by the fact that they live on opposite sides of the same world; day, and night. Are they able to rise over the challenges that face them, or is it fated to be a sad "what if" forever?
