His anger, his lust, the color of the blood of everyone he's ripped apart mindlessly when full of rage. His carnage. Valentino never considered red as a color of love. He never felt love at all. Nobody interested him in that way. It's not like anyone loved him anyway, or so he thought. His mindset and loveless life suddenly changes when a certain blue boy comes into Val's life.
