oc x tom riddle. set in the 1940s. written pretty lazily but relatively well, to an extent, i can promise that it's an enjoyable read - oh, and tom is written to be as biblically accurate as possible, not soft. for the most part at least, or any part for that matter. ۶ৎ

The true Time-Turner was slammed savagely into Hermione's throat. It shattered against her neck, bits of glass and gold piercing into her skin. The last thing she saw before blackness consumed her was a plume of metallic dust and vitreous fragments, tiny prisms dancing behind her eyelids. (In which Hermione accidentally ends up in 1950, pitted against an ascending Dark Lord in his prime, caught in the entanglement of pureblood politics, dark magic, and Tom Riddle's interest) Written by Obsidianpen all credits to him/her

Seraphina Ashcroft possesses a gift she was never meant to inherit. And it is unravelling the very fabric of the future. In a lineage governed by strict, almost sacred order-where true sight manifests but once in a generation-Seraphina sees what she should not. Not only harmless glimpses, or trivial omens, but fragments of something profoundly unnatural. Blood. Death. A soul... divided against itself. And at the center of it all, Tom Riddle. She endeavors to ignore it. To maintain distance. To convince herself that she is not witnessing the emergence of something impossible, something that should not, by any natural law, exist. Then he finds her journal. And everything changes. Tom does not recoil from her visions. He does not dismiss them as superstition or fear what they reveal. Instead, he studies them with chilling precision-deciphering, dissecting, understanding. And when he realizes she is the mind behind them, his interest sharpens into something far more perilous than curiosity. Obsession. "You see what I will become," he tells her, his voice quiet, unwavering. "And yet... you're still here." As the truth reveals itself in full, Seraphina comes to understand a far more disturbing reality: she is no longer merely an observer of fate. She is woven into it. Into him. And when the time comes, she will have to decide. Expose the monster before he ascends... Or stand beside him, and ensure that nothing in this world can ever hope to oppose him. Because some fates are not meant to be escaped. They are accepted.
