It was the dawn of a new millennium-1999, the threshold of the 21st century. Fireworks lit the sky, celebrations echoed through the streets, and Japan stood on the precipice of an era defined by globalization and technological progress. Then, without warning, the world as they knew it ceased to exist. A cataclysmic earthquake tore through the archipelago, shaking the very foundations of the nation. Moments later, all communication with the outside world went silent. Panic spread as radar screens across the country flickered, their displays shifting from the familiar to the impossible-Asia, the largest continent on Earth, had vanished. Every known landmass surrounding Japan was simply... gone. In their place, the endless expanse of the Pacific stretched further than it ever should have. Yet, to the east, where there should have been nothing but open ocean, a new, uncharted continent emerged from the void. Vast, foreign, and utterly unknown, its presence defied logic. Was this an experiment gone wrong? Was this some bixzare trick? Perhaps a glitch in the systems? With the tides of globalization once threatening to pull Japan into obscurity, the country now faced an even greater existential crisis. It fell upon Prime Minister Shinji Hashimoto and his administration to navigate this unprecedented upheaval. Their nation stood at a crossroads, forced to confront not only the mysteries of this strange new reality but also the internal struggles that had long simmered beneath the surface. Inspired by みのろう's Summoning Japan (Nihonkoku Shoukan, NHS), this is a fan-made exploration of a different world-one where Japan, now isolated yet unshackled, must forge its own path. As the first light of a new dawn illuminates the foreign land before them, Japan gazes upon the Golden horizon-not just as a breathtaking spectacle, but as a symbol of both hope and uncertainty. What lies beyond? Opportunity or ruin? Only time will tell.

Join the Subreddit: "FLOANA" Join my Discord: https://discord.gg/dzapxK6f --- In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. All hope for these downtrodden souls seems lost, but the wheels of fate have other plans for them. In a faraway ocean, one that is filled with demons and sea monsters, a great technological civilization suddenly appeared, one that came from a world that is only filled with chaos and destruction. This civilization became the heaven for people seeking a stable and peaceful life. The Earth rose and seas parted ways, and the environment had totally changed for its adaptability. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of this great technological civilization are all but manaless, arriving in a world where they are seen as inferior and as slaves. How will they react of finding themselves in a world where people can split mountains or bend the fabric of space, and where beings exist that even conventional weapons cannot defeat? How will they survive against deadly monsters, magical beasts, and superhumans that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.

A world where Japan and the United States never went to war, as a result of following a route that diverged only slightly from actual historical events. The Empire of Japan barely managed to survive into the 21st century... This story was essentially cooked just to pit the Yamato and Musashi against the Grade Atlastar, and that Japan that appears in this story isn't all that different from our own. It's a straightforward tale of kicking Louria, Parpaldia, and the Gra Valkas Empire's asses, and trolling the shit out of Mu. RELEASE: 2020 (COMPLETED)

Initially believed to be a terrorist attack, the truth emerges that the assailants are legionnaires, Orks, and dragons emerging from a mysterious gate that has opened in Ginza, revealing a portal to a parallel world. With news of the incident spreading worldwide, Japan accepts assistance from the United States who dispatch a Marine Expeditionary Unit to Tokyo, determined to push through the portal and confront the unknown. What lies beyond the Gate is more than just an enemy, it's an entire civilization, steeped in its own conflicts and politics. As the clash of worlds intensifies, the struggle is no longer just about vengeance. it's about the fate of two realms forever changed by the opening of the Gate. Cover Art custom commissioned by the author and made by Hawari on Fiverr. Ranked #1 #gate 3/3/25 DISCLAIMER: I do not own Gate nor the images I'm using. I'm writing this story based on the Anime, I never read the manga or the novel. Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.

For centuries, humanity battled its own demons-war, destruction, the ever-present shadow of extinction. But against all odds, it endured. Nations united, wounds healed, and a single banner rose above the entire Earth: United Earth Government and later the United Federation of Planets. By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. Now, in this strange, limitless frontier, humanity's greatest adventure was only just beginning. Would they adapt and survive, or uncover something beyond their wildest understanding? Only time would reveal the truth... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heavily influenced by Nihonkoku Shoukan by Minorou, Anime GATE and various nation summoned novels here in wattpad.
