None of the students understand why Miyamoto Katsumi is so reserved, but the quiet strength and powerful quirk in her body brings the attention of one of her fellow students, who believes there's more to her than meets the eye. After seeing her quirk, he subtly beings to study the quiet girl, trying to notice any discrepancies in her stories. When the League of Villains attack the USJ, Bakugo is the only one who notices how Miyamoto reacts to the concept of being captured or killed. That, coupled with what he learned earlier, interests him enough to try to find out what exactly happened to her to make the only expression Miyamoto knows is fear.
