"Thunder Bay Police have charged 20-year-old male, Todd Downey in the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old girlfriend, Stevie Davis. The incident took place Saturday night around 12:15 am, during a party he was having." The blonde woman on the news begins saying. "At around 1:45 am, Police say officers responded to a call regarding an injured person who had fallen victim to the hands of someone who was heavily under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Police put into custody the 20-year-old male and determined him to have non-life-threatening injuries. He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and murder of the first degree. He is even being further investigated in connection with the disappearance of a young woman named Sadie Burkins, who had gone missing a few months ago. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Provincial Court at a later date. Thunder Bay Police ask anyone with information to report to our station or call their bureau." She explains, staring into the camera with a sincere stare, before the screen switches over to the weather.
