Beasts. But they weren't able to wipe them all. The werewolves grew in power, ravaging the forests and mountains, growing and flourishing in the darkness as legends started to swarm, stories and terrifying nightmares that began to haunt the mortals who still continued to live in fear and hate. The mortals saw the werewolves as enemies unlike the angels, the hybrids, the birds. And as much as they tried to defeat them, they were never successful.
