A thousand years ago humans landed on the shores of Clairval, seeking refuge from wars, famines and disaster and forged an uneasy truce with the wild Feysha. No one in the Kingdom of Clairval knows why the Feysha allowed humans to settle along the perimeter of the island, and the only proof that the Feysha even exist are the impassible Wilds in the centre of the island. Verana is about to change that. Feysha but more, she is sent from the Wild to warn the humans that darkness is coming for their island and remind them of the oath both parties swore to protect Clairval from what was to come.
