Nico Di Angelo didn't exist. Okay, yeah, he did exist. But not really to anyone outside of his small friend group. And even then, he was a quiet kid. It was easy for him to almost disappear even when he was with friends. He kind of blended in with the shadows, with the background. Will Solace was pretty well known, however. Nico is the "scary" kid in high school. He is covered in tattoos, has piercings peppering his features, and wears nothing but punk, black clothes. He shows no emotion to anyone but his sister, Hazel, and he has no friends at school- not that he tries to make any. Will solace is popular, happy, and always overly optimistic. He has a million friends. He knows almost everyone is his grade and gets along with nearly everyone he meets. He loves doing volunteer work in the hospital and playing volleyball and basketball. He experiences the "typical high school experience". Until he doesn't. When Will and Nico meet, everything changes for both boys.
