If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

A hundred and fifty years from now, parents will give up their children to the government at birth. This is due to mandatory DNA scanning that will determine every detail of the child: personality, talents, weaknesses, eye and hair color, and any disabilities. Parents then "shop" for the type of child they want. After they purchase their child, they raise that child as their own. The children that are not chosen by the age of three are deemed "the forgotten" and sentenced to a life of servitude to the government. This has been the way of the world for one hundred years. Fifteen year old Eris-6-11 is one of the Forgotten. Her life changes forever when she gets a chance to leave the Compound forever. Best Science Fiction rank: 75

Meet Alyssa Bent, she's a nerd. But not your typical one. She likes to read, but her world doesn't totally revolve around books. She's not shy nor does she stutter when someone tries to corner her. She can stand up to anyone provided it doesn't involve attention. Attention is the only thing that scares her, and like always, there's a reason behind it. Maintaining a balance of grades and producing comebacks with sarcasm dripping from each word isn't the only talent she possesses. Enter Aaron Pelt, the most popular boy at Gradient High. Girls fawn over him. Well, who wouldn't? He's the star soccer player, after all. With the looks no less than a model, he has no problem maintaining his status on the social ladder. He maintains a cool aura around him all the time. They both go to Gradient High, a school that is divided into two social groups: the popular ones and the nerds. The popular ones are the wealthy snobs and the nerds are the ones who practically are their slaves. At Gradient High, these two groups can never get along! Like Ever! But who knew that the most popular guy and the nerd would actually be best friends? That's right! Alyssa and Aaron have been best friends since their diaper days. But at school, they are forced not to acknowledge each other's presence because if they did, Aaron's reputation might suffer and Alyssa may be subjected to something she hates the most: attention. While Aaron may not know, the reason why Alyssa hates attention might be even more than she lets him believe. A reason that might even force her to throw away her future dream. So will Aaron be able to break through the walls and push her out even when he has the pressure of popularity and the school status weighing him down? Get ready to expect the unexpected. You might want to change your definition of clichè after reading...... #1 Humour- 08.01.16 (Cover by: -infinities) *NOT EDITED SO KINDLY BEAR WITH ME!

Disclaimer; This is not your average high school story. This never was intended to and hopefully never will be. You always hear about the popular girl that dates the popular boy. And his friends that play some sport. And the queen bees minions. And the girl that seems to be average; just like us, but ends up just getting the guy they've been neighbors with since they were toddlers. But what about us? What about the people who don't go to school dances because they would rather be watching movies with a friend so they end up missing the big fight that took place. Or the ones who have the so called lame jobs that no cute girl wants to work at. What about the people who don't have cancer and don't fall in love with a boy who only has one organic leg. The ones who's story isn't as interesting to read. The 'extras' in the movie. The ones that don't have the happiest ending. Well let me tell you, we are interesting to read about. We are worth writing a novel about, and I hope and pray oh so dearly that you'll find this interesting enough to continue reading So that's what I'm going to do. My name is Cassie Drake and this is our story. (BOOK ONE OF ESSAY SERIES)
