Then one of the strange pillars opened, a pale gas almost fog-like drifted from it before a figure moved. He almost screamed, thinking he had stumbled upon a crypt hidden deep in an old castle, when the figure moved. A flash of red before sentries fell. Blinking his eyes clear he watched the fog dissipate before he found the alien. He was tall, taller than he was anyway, with strange red and white armour on. His eyes were a deep purple colour when they suddenly locked onto him. ~~~ The paladins are asleep for 10,000 years and accidentally awoken by a stranger. This stranger has experience of being under the Galran's thumb and is willing to fight for his and others independence. I'm not very good at description but this is a Lance-centric story. When the rest of team Voltron leave Lance alone with Coran for 2 months because he apparently doesn't qualify for the mission or whatever, Lance ends up spending more time with the red lion and the 10,000-year-old alien that's staying with him. Coran, also left behind, grows closer to Lance and both share some skeletons in the closet. For Lance, he's hiding something big, preferably not revealed to the rest of the team. And for Coran, let's just say his life isn't all smiles and happiness. When the rest of the team comes back, they are quite surprised to find out the resident goofball and the mechanic have become...closer, and they are hiding something. Can the team find out what the two were hiding? Did Lance gain any perks from bonding with his lion, which the rest of the team doesn't seem interested in? And what are the adoption laws in Outerspace? - Altean Lance AU! Don't like don't read, dw though it's not what this fic revolves around. There is a ship, LanceLot - Or Lance x Lotor or another one could be Klance- Lance x Keith Also, there is lots of fluff between Lance and Coran (Lance may or may not get adopted by him) :)
