Welcome to my second post on this app. Idk if the Next Gen fandom is still floating around here (even tho I've seen a spike in the fandom's activity), but I have been obsessed with this movie for the past couple of months. Due to that (along with me being an avid shipper), I noticed two rarepairs I really liked (Ares x 7723 and Molly x 7723). Of course, I don't ship these for any weird aspects. I hate ships like that. This is just for fun, and I don't expect anyone besides my friend to read this anyway, but if you do, just sit back and enjoy. (Also; if you have any ship/x reader recommendations, lmk! I won't do any with the kids in this movie x any adult. Yes, which includes 7723 x Mai. Y'all ain't slick.

After a long, hard fought battle, Ares is defeated. His plans on wiping out humanity are foiled due to 7723, Dr. Tanner Rice's life work, and Mai Su, a young, rebellious girl who was caught in the crossfire due to her own defiance. After the battle, Ares was the last robot standing, and in his moment of triumph, Mai came across a stray piece of debree, which she used to bring his untimely death, and now, thankfully, all that's left to do is to try to bring 7723 back, but... Ares isn't exactly as 'gone' as the girl initially thought. Whilst Mai rushes to the husk that was once 7723, Ares is in hell. Or, at least, his very own version of it. In a deep sea of black, lost, scared, confused, Ares is left to lament his actions. He's scared. For the first time in his two decade long life, Ares feels genuine terror as the darkness swallows what's left of his being, but then, there it is. A spark of chance. The exact thing he was begging to whoever would listen for, but, once connecting to this circuit, Ares is brought to an entirely new world than the one he left behind at I.Q, leaving him to wonder whether or not his choice was worth it.
