Frisk is a scientist in the laboratory of Ebott City, where she works with her Roomate and coworker, Chara. Frisk discovers anomalies beyond compare once she creates a device to measure the irregularities of the frequencies in Mt. Ebott. Her findings are extraordinary. These findings are appealing to the US military, who foresee the specimen left underground as a more of a biological weapon of warfare for the oncoming war of WWIII. Frisk's curiosities get the best of her. What are they hiding under the mountain in which SHE discovered? Looking for this truth, she gets trapped underground, where the once lively place is now desolate and strangely silent. Will she make it out alive to tell the world of her findings? Or will she die first to the skeletal hands of the last monster to roam the dusty underground?

Specifically about Lord Nightmare, who has never been known to be the gracious type. The rumor says that their Dark Lord is a blood draining vampire, and their beloved Lord Dream is ignorant to the truth because Lord Nightmare has put a hex on him. But what is the truth? Is Nightmare truly a vampire? Is Dream under his spell?
