AU: in which Tyler and Troye are as different as can be, but somehow fit together like two parts of a whole. Their lives come together with a tad bit of scheming on Tyler's part, and more than a tad bit of flirting on Troye's. Eventually, they coalesce into an inseparable unit--and you know what they say about friends who can't stay apart.

Troye has been set up on a blind date for a company event night by Caspar - his caring, but highly unpredictable friend. The man that shows up at his door turns out to be someone, or rather -something-, Troye could have never expected. Can he get past the awkward situation he's been put in and enjoy himself? Troye's not so sure... Giving in to Tyler's advances, Troye finds himself in a very strange yet, physically, very satisfying situation. As time progresses, so does the relationship between the two unlikely lovers. But will the fine balance between sex and romance stay the way it is? Or will it all fall into ruin because of their resistance to fall for each other?

"What do you want from me?" I whisper, my voice low and strangled. Tyler stares back at me with empty black eyes. His tongue glides over bloodied lips before a sadistic smile spreads across his face. Long slim fingers curl around my cheek. "Can you guess?" he asks as his thumb leaves a trail of crimson along my hair line. My eyelids close against my will and I lean into his touch. "Mmm," I sigh before remembering his question. I force my brain to ignore the warmth swelling in my chest from his touch and focus on an answer. "My blood?" He chuckles darkly and leans in close until his nose tickles my ear. "I'm not a vampire, Troye," he breathes. "Then what are you?" I choke out as my body begins to shake in fear. Tyler may not be a vampire, but he sure as hell isn't human. "What do you want?" "Your soul." My blood seems to freeze in my veins. "M-my soul?" His mouth curls up in response. "Why me? Why my soul?" "You have a strangely beautiful soul, Troye Sivan. And I'm hungry."

This is a Troyler AU co-authored by @Ms_Crow and @itsonmymind. There will be a large amount of action, angst and drama in this book, as well as a fair amount of fluff and smut. Smut warnings will be posted at the beginning of each chapter they are necessary for. If you find any material triggering, please notify one of the authors so we can post a warning before it. It's just too easy to expect that self-proclaimed homophobes (like Troye Sivan) and a homosexuals themselves (like Tyler Oakley) could never get along. Not even mindless vengeful plans or diabolic fake babies or constant mockery or accidental not-dates or attempts to make each other's lives a living hell could force a decent acquaintanceship upon them, much less was there a chance that they'd develop weird yet genuine relationships and feelings that definitely crosses the border of friendship. It would definitely take a million wishes and miracles just for them to like each other. ..right? Entirety of story is fictional; characters are real life people.
