Vinaigrette Tolentino was the girl who lived the simplest life in Naga. She was an abandoned child when she was young, and only her grandmother raised her. She became independent at the age of 13 and a working student at the age of 15. Nagpapatuloy siya sa buhay niya kahit na namatay na ang lola niya, pero bago pa ito pumanaw ay may binilin ito sa kanya-alagan ang dating bahay ng mga Diesel. Milyonaryo ang nagmamay-ari nito at sa kanila ipinagkatiwala ang pag-aalaga ng bahay. Hindi alam ni Vina kung bakit ganoon na lang kahalaga sa kanyang lola ang simpleng paglilinis ng bahay na iyon. Nagbago lang ang buhay niya noong kailangan na niyang umalis sa lugar kung saan siya lumaki para maiahon ang sarili mula sa kahirapan. Ayaw niya sanang gawin iyon dahil napamahal na siya sa bahay na ipinagbilin ng kanyang lola. Nais sana niyang magpaalam sa may-ari, ngunit iba ang kagustuhan nito.
