I feared what I would have to say, each word would be like gasoline to the fire that would inevitably explode sooner rather than later. At first, I loved him, I would gladly jump in front of a bus for him, but when the love-struck puppy disappeared and my vision was no longer clouded by sweet gestures and expensive gifts, I saw him for who he truly was. A cold, heartless man that thrived off the hurt and anguish of others, and when I finally discovered who the person I fell in love was, it was too late to leave. Skye Talbot was nothing near a normal girl. Her 'boyfriend' was part of the town's most dangerous and feared gangs.
