This is the muke version of my other story with the same name. soul mate, noun a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. everyone always forgets about the first one, the purely platonic soul mates. i didn't realize that was why the tattoos kept coming, why i started getting unexplainable bruises. i didn't consider the fact that maybe, just maybe, i have a platonic soul mate. nothing made sense. not until i met him. it was luke, the boy who would never speak, the one no one ever noticed. everyone except me. that boy was my soul mate.
