20 years ago, something terrible happened, an outbreak of a vicious fungus that spread incredibly fast all over the world- the cordyceps. Those infected would turn into monstrous creature, aggressive and violent, they decimated the remaining healthy peoples. But humans still found a way to survive-like they always do. Newt lived, he survived but became an orphan. He stayed alive, living everyday like an endless loop that made life unworthy of being lived. He'd often wonder why he kept living with so much pain. Until he found people who made it worth it. Maybe there's still hope in a fucked up world like theirs, hope to enjoy life and everything thats come with it. Joy. Love. Nostalgia. Anxiety. Anger. Pain. Sadness. Grief. Newt will learn to truly live.
