I stared down at the letter in my hand. There was something so familiar about it. Yet it was different. Mysterious. Alluring. Almost Irresistible. *** After Edward leaves Bella in the woods, she is heartbroken. She is in a constant state of intense depression. That is until a letter arrived in the mail. A letter from the person she had least expected. Jasper x Bella (I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but Jasper is my favorite. He's adorable and I love him. We're just gonna do our best to ignore the fact that he fought on the Confederate side, and pretend that he has grown from the experience and is no longer racist. Now he supports the BLM movement and is deeply ashamed of his past. Yay! Character growth!) I have altered some of the characters to fit the story. Some of their actions in this book would never happen in the actual saga. Our perfect southern gentleman would never hurt Alice, we all know that ;) Warning: Lots of fluff. The timeline is a little messed up, but the events are fairly similar to the book New Moon. If this bothers you too much don't read. I hope you enjoy the book.

Set after Cullen's leave in New Moon. Bella is done waiting for the Cullen's to return. She throws herself back into school, work and being a normal teenager. After she graduates she gets accepted to Texas Southern University. Jasper is a History Professor at Texas Southern University. After leaving Forks and Bella behind Jasper moved back to his hometown to be with his brother, Peter and his wife, Charlotte. Jasper constantly thinks about Bella and how she is doing. He cut off all contact with the Cullen's except for Emmett and Rose, who visit every once in a while. What happens when the two of them run into each other? What happens when the pain that Jasper was feeling disappears? What if Peter was right the entire time?
