Something is wrong... Varian keeps waking to little changes in his life, an odd routine mussed by dust or odd feelings. Something is wrong with his home, his husband, him... But what is it?

Varian had always kept to himself- he'd had no reason to go to anyone else. He wasn't viewed as anybody super important. He wasn't strong, or super charming with his words. He was just average. But, when Hugo came crashing into his life, it's like that all flips itself on its head. This is a collection of different scenes and alternate universe stuff between Hugo and Varian. It is not a full story with legit plot. Just thought I would give a warning. :)

Hugo knew about Varian's past villainy. He never expected with the wave of a wand, he'd be with the very same Varian after he was jailed. Now Hugo must keep Varian distracted by playing the supportive boyfriend until Quirin arrives back in Corona or use a potion to change this oddly suave version of his dorky boyfriend back before he builds an army of automatons.

After a year of imprisonment for his crimes against Corona, Varian is forced to leave his cell mate behind to face the cold hard reality. And somewhere in the crowds, Hugo watches his lover say goodbye, unprepared for the anguish that was about to inflict him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Special thanks goes out to @Pug_Moneyz55 for co- writing this with me Completed December 2021

UPDATE! As of right now, I am discontinuing this story. I decided I wasn't getting anywhere with this idea, and I'm currently re-writing it, with a different story plot. I am sorry for anyone who was interested in this story. I hope you understand. I will be taking this story down in a few days. Have a great day! Hugo awakes to voices. Dear journal, You're probably wondering why I'm keeping and making you, pouring my personal life into something that could be easily read instead of containing it in my brain where it should be. Hugo, an obsessed history buff, finds a way to travel back in time to 16th century Corona so he can do more in depth research for his PhD. After camping outside a medieval village, the townspeople suspect him of witchcraft and want him dead. Before he manages to escape, he has a run in with a deathly ill prince named Varian who learns that modern medicine exists and decides to do something risky.
