She was the only one who saw through all of those smiles and her cocky behavior, she saw the real her more than anyone else did. After a little while, Rainbow and Applejack grew strong feelings for each other that meant more than friendship, but it becomes a problem for Rainbow because she dwells on her past and overthinks her fake image and one of Applejack's closest friends gaslights her. Applejack's feelings never went away and she wanted a genuine relationship with Rainbow, but Rainbow was blinded by the darkest thoughts that were never said to anyone. Ah, the last year of high school, when students start pondering their futures. 17-year-old Applejack has... other problems. She's a long way from home, for one, and she knows home is the only place she's going back to after high school in the big city. Applejack is okay with this, but when she sees Rainbow Dash, soaring ever high, achieving her dreams, that doesn't stop her from wondering what it's like to fly. Rainbow Dash has finally come to terms with her sexuality and feelings towards her best friend Applejack, but she's too scared to confess. After the two girls share an unexpected moment, she realizes that Applejack likes her back. Despite this, things don't always turn out as planned and they both have to learn that the hard way. Lots of drama, angst and fluff. No joke, the drama is almost overwhelming. Happy ending though.

They sort of had a fight but Rainbow Dash doesn't know what she did wrong. They are scared to talk each other. Will they be able to solve their problems? ('Fun' fact: this is discontinued. Not sure if you would like to see the rest since it's kinda poorly written and there isn't much storyline but still, read at your own risk! Also, it may be discontinued, but the story actually has an ending kind of ending. It ends after we figure out they are friends again or not.
