Jess is 20 jaar. Ze zit nu in haar derde hbo-jaar. Haar (ex) vriend Dylan heeft haar een jaar geleden gedumpt. Sinds die tijd heeft ze het gevoel dat ze iets mist. Nu leert ze op het hbo tijdens een AMX week Reede kennen. Ze voelt zich gelijk tot hem aangetrokken. Reede is direct en behandeld haar op een manier die ze niet gewend is. Na een paar spannende momenten in het klaslokaal voelen Reede en Jess dat deze spanning tussen elkaar blijft duren, zeker als ze aan elkaar gekoppeld worden voor een project. Maar wie is deze Reede precies, en waarom zorgt een aanraking van hem ervoor dat ze alles om zich heen vergeet? Geeft ze zich over aan de passie die Reede haar biedt? Of twijfelt ze te veel omdat Dylan ineens weer voor de deur staat en haar eeuwige trouw beloofd? Hoe gaat Jess om met de vooroordelen die ze heeft over Reede vanaf hun eerste ontmoeting?

Tyler was sad. He was hurt, confused, angry, and scared, too, but most of all, he was sad. He didn't know if it was because he had been stuck in the same town for his entire life or it it was something a bit more serious, but that little uncertainty didn't stop him from applying to colleges all throughout the country and going to the one the furthest away from where he grew up. It wasn't the best choice he had made in his life, but suddenly there's this kid that shows up who dyes his hair a different color almost every month, and maybe, just maybe, he's the cure to Tyler's, well, whatever it is. This story is for all of you who don't know how strong and amazing you are, and for those of you who do. You have the power to do anything you can imagine. Use that power well.

He wants to forget, but with his guilttripping mind just a step behind him, he won't be able to get anywhere. Josh saw the sad ukulele-boy on a bench just outside of the city. He knew he couldn't let him stay on the streets in the freezing night, that'd be a dick move. Blurry wasn't far behind, though. And he was determined to make Tyler's life a living hell when he was on the run and go to freedom. Josh, of course, had no idea what was going on inside Tyler's mind, but he'd help him.
