【Time Travel + Workplace Competition + No Lazing Around + Ambitious Female Lead】 Overachiever Shen Wei traveled through time and found herself as the lowest-ranking maid in the grand residence of the Yan Prince. The Yan Prince held a prestigious position, but his consorts were all content to live dull lives. The noble-born princess consort was as tranquil as a chrysanthemum; the concubine sought a life of monogamy; the reincarnated woman was utterly disillusioned with the Yan Prince and had given up on striving for anything; and the other timid concubines dared not make a move... The queen of workplace competition, Shen Wei, declared: Don't stop me! I'm going to outwork these unambitious slackers! ... The Yan Prince had grown accustomed to the stagnant atmosphere in his harem, until a particularly skilled courtesan appeared. This concubine was stunningly beautiful, adept at both literature and dance, hardworking, and always brought him fresh excitement. The Prince couldn't help but take a second, then a lifetime-long, look at her. Years later, Shen Wei became the all-powerful Imperial Noble Consort, with children and the emperor's exclusive favor. Meanwhile, the princess consort remained as tranquil as ever; the concubine was aging and had yet to experience a monogamous life; and the reincarnated woman was still eating simple meals in her modest abode... After half a lifetime of striving, Shen Wei finally reached retirement and revealed her true nature, fully embracing a life of leisure. The retired emperor interjected: "You competed for favor just to retire?" Shen Wei snacked on melon seeds: "What else?" Living is all about retirement! The retired emperor was even more surprised to find, in midlife, that other men were vying for his wife's affections!

Fortune favors the brave or incredibly reckless. Charles Brandon, the Duke of Suffolk, a man of impulsive nature takes a risk on a woman of cautious prudence. Tasked to marry the King's daughter, through trials and tragedies he learns to triumph with the pearl of great price by his side. And hopefully a new dynasty can begin. All hail House Brandon. May you rise and never fall. My spin on Showtime's The Tudors because Mary deserves more and so does Charles. Yes I know history, but this is fanfiction. All gloves are off where that is concerned. Events will try to stay closely aligned but some things must change.

Previously known as: Seducing an Emperor "Our daughter is all wrong Iotiva her body is not bountiful. No man in Roma wants to marry her. They won't marry her for her intelligence that is for sure" he spat draining his glass. I sat there silently taking the blame for my fathers' lack of fortune. The gods are not looking upon us today. Or any other day. How dare they bestow this house with a daughter with golden hair. Did they not understand that a Roman man preferred dark-haired creature. Or did the gods get me just right, to the specifications of the emperor, to stir his senses, awaken his desire. And prove father wrong. "I want my very own castle; I want tons of servants and men throwing themselves at my feet. I want to be pampered and rich. I want my own bloody fairy tale!" Unfortunately even wishes never went smoothly for Sarah. Instead of getting her happily ever after Sarah was unceremoniously dumped into a world that was both completely alien and chock full of intrigue and peril as well. She got the castle and servants all right but she also got plenty more that wasn't listed in the programme. Now all she could do was bide her time and pray for a way out of the mess before it was too late. Iain McLaughlin swore he'd never marry an Englishwoman. Infamous as the Black Wolf of the Highlands the gruff warrior was used to having everything his own way. But circumstances had a way of changing in the blink of an eye. Even a great laird isn't immune to the dictates of fate. So now he had no choice but to ride forth and claim his prize, whether he wants it or not however is another matter entirely.

(If you like this story, read my other story Bad Habits which is based on His French Rose but in my opinion, Bad Habits is much more well written then this story) What if Henry viii didn't marry Catherine of Aragon? what if he met someone just for love and not for political reasons? Will this change the man we see as a tyrant? Will this affect what happens next? The 19-year-old Charlotte of Valois-Angouleme daughter of the late Charles of OrlΓ©ans and sister to the future Francis I of France. Charlotte marries the charismatic, young and handsome King Henry VIII, what will happen to her whilst married to the newly crowned King? will she give him his awaited son or will it be off with her head...

A shy child, she prefers her prayers and pearls to the hefty politics her Father and brothers have no choice but to partake in but war will reach into her life quicker than she could ever know.... Across the sea, in England, the Wars of the Roses rages, a bloody battle for the throne between the royal Houses of York and Lancaster where a word weighs as much as the swing of a sword. Amidst it all, stands Edward of York, the handsome eldest son to the Duke of York, a young knight, eager to fight but forced to flee England in 1459 when the Lancastrian King and Queen overpower his family forces at Ludlow Castle. With his Neville cousins (one being the infamous Earl of Warwick) Edward sails to France where Warwick begins his plots to regain the House of York power. It is as a result of these plots, Edward and Constance are destined to meet. Worlds apart, they will be matched for the benefit of others but when tragedy strikes at the very heart of the House of York, forcing Edward closer to the throne than ever, they find they are, perhaps, what each other needs. Amongst the tangled nest of vipers, surrounded by bloodied thorns, will they keep the crowns destiny calls for them to claim?

"Nothing, not even the royal blood that coursed through their veins, could ever stop the affectionate feelings the two royals had for each other." [COMPLETED] Rankings: #1 in #frary #1 in #marystuart #3 in #reign #17 in Historical Fiction #23 in QUEEN (This story is based on the CW television show, Reign. It will be lightly going off of the show's story line. Please realize that I will be changing multiple scenarios and will not be following exactly by the script of Reign the majority of the time. Also, I give all credits necessary to the makers of Reign and CW. I only take the credit for Princess Arabella, who is purely my own fictional character. Enjoy!)

Katherine Tudor was supposed to be stillborn. A dead daughter of Elizabeth of York whom would die days before her mother. That is no longer the case. Instead she became Queen of France at 13. The wife of Le Garcon Roi; the boy king. The Queen Mother who kept the country afloat for nearly a decade and continued to do so until the day she died. Yeah, I like this story better, too. UNDER EDIT AND REVISION I might continue it, I have some drafts, but HoTD has my attention rn and I want to see where my ideas with that go. Thank you guys for reading though (:
