Maddy said, worry covering her face. "Landon treated me like his best friend. He showered me with compliments and gifts. He was perfect.." Maddy said trailing off and ended up spacing out. Maddy snapped back to reality and looked at me. "He's really sweet and funny.." I said looking at her quietly. "Kylie. They don't change for anyone. Do you know how many girls Landon has slept with using those techniques?" Maddy said smiling sadly at me. "Nn...no. He's...He's different. The boys told me so. I defended him. "I'm just trying to help, Kylie. My best advice is to avoid them. I'll handle things. Okay Hun'?" Maddy smiled satisfied. "Okay." I whispered looking down. Maddy hugged me and said, "I'll always be here for you." She gave me a reassuring smile and skipped off. She left me silently standing behind the bar looking at the group of boys. She's right. He has probably slept with every girl in New York. I'm just another victim to his player ways. Although I never planned on dating him, Maddy stopped me before i gained serious feelings for him.
