Hongjoong just sat on his bed looking at the man in front of him with an unreadable expression. Yeah, he spent the entire afternoon at his studio, but he didn't work. Not at all. In fact, he was feeling a little guilty because now his groupmate was standing in front of him with a worried expression when in reality he had spent the afternoon reading fanfiction of the both of them together. And he was starting to realize... things. He was starting to realize that if filled his heart when the older talked to him like that, or that he found him extremely beutiful, or that he was looking at his lips right now

This was their eighth date already. Originally, Hongjoong had something else planned for this day but after seeing Seonghwa down, he wanted to put a smile on his face again. So, Hongjoong just thought he would take Seonghwa to the beach he used to visit with his parents. ~~ He fell in love with the sea. And he now perhaps fell in love with the one standing right in front of him, feet in the sand as he wore the biggest smile while collecting sea shells.

First, the power went out. Second, it was the water. Then, it was the blaring horns that rang throughout the city. The warning was there, they had time to make it out, but Seonghwa learned that it was best to listen to his screaming instincts rather than his roommate who told him it was nothing.
