Is now the spring following those two difficult winters during which Auror Harry Potter, along with his team, led the efforts to unravel the Death Eater's dark secret on the Isle of Man. Despite their notable accomplishments, four of the dark wizards got away. It will be up to Harry, his friends, and his colleagues to track them down and find them. Their escape proves to be mysterious, even to a wizard and outside help must be called in to help them unravel the mysteries surrounding the mists of spring. Meanwhile, many of the young people are getting married and beginning the next phase of their personal lives.

This is the sequel to Harry Potter and the Summer After the War. The years that follow Harry and Ginny's decision to become engaged are years of development and change for our young adults. In addition to their growing and developing relationship, their attention is beginning to shift to their careers and the state of the wizarding world. Challenges and triumphs fill the years ahead as Harry moves beyond basic training in the Auror Department and discovers what the surviving Death Eaters have been doing since the end of the war.

Originally posted on another web site under the pen name Mrs_Granger, this story takes up where Chapter 36 The Flaw in the Plan form Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows stops and covers the next few months as Harry and his friends recover and begin to put their lives back together. Follow Harry as he comes to terms with the traumatic events he experienced to bring Voldemort down, develops his relationship with Ginny, struggles with decisions about what to do with the rest of his life and discovers what it will take to get there.

Fairy tales end "And They Lived Happily Ever After," but good stories continue on, "One Season Following Another, Laden with Happiness and Tears." This is the first of four stories covering the nineteen years until Albus goes to Hogwarts. I follow book canon as it was at the end of the first seven books.
