This was not what MK was expecting when he asked the Macaque to be his teacher. This apartment was made out of those Shipping containers. The space felt a lot bigger inside than it actually was. Macaque was dressed a lot more casual than Monkey King, in fact, Macaque's seemed to have a preference for baggy clothes. Macaque welcomed MK in with open arms, he was always seemingly nervous but also seemed like he saw MK as a friend despite both of them meeting an hour ago. "Alright, the first lesson is pretty simple, good for beginners I think." and that was the second thing MK didn't expect. The monkey liked to play video games. He didn't know how to react when Macaque betrayed him. Now there are days when he feels like green eyes follow him in the shadows... What could Macaque want? Or: Macaque has green eyes and a twisted memory, what is there behind those eyes?

AU where Sun Wukong and Liu'er Mihou's positions are switched. I usually see screenshot redraws of swk and macaque switched but I've barely seen anyone making a whole storyline out of it including a fanfic of it, so might aswell make my own version of it and a whole storyline!!!!(I'm not sane) A lot of the characters in the story are different, the most obvious ones is that wukong and macaque are switched. He believed that his parents knew best. Mk is an optimistic extrovert, who can do anything if he believes in it. Everyone thinks he's just like before getting his powers but.. he's not. He struggles with PTSD and severe trauma. He thinks everything that happened was his fault, and he lives scared that he'll do another stupid thing that'll change the world to worse. Even tho he really wants to be friends with Red Son, he's scared that he'll make another persons life worse because of him. Even after those thoughts, he still will do anything to help those in need.
