As in, that has happened to Ink so much, that he has given up hoping that the AU could ever be nicer and be a family to him. Every family destroyed. "It's all Ink's fault!" Every AU destroyed. Error and Ink had been fighting for as long as they remember, but neither was ever going to win. So instead Ink decides to hold out the hand of friendship, which Error takes.
