With her Grandfather as her only really close family she moves to New York as he becomes weak. But New York is much different and her other family is also different. What could go wrong?

My first story. Quality questionable, Read at your own risk: Seventeen year old Kat hates moving, but the small town of Silver Valley isn't all that bad. Trying to escape her mother and her past shouldn't be too hard for her sharp, sarcastic wit and a biting attitude. Growing up in hell has been completely normal to me, being surrounded by demon's and evil soul's is nothing, they don't scare me. But the day mom told me I will be I would be going to high school, now that scared me. I have managed to put her off til I turned seventeen, that was a few month's ago and school starts next week. I have no idea how to blend into their world. Sure I visit from time to time when I was younger but not lately. I have spent my time here, studying and learning to fight. Going up there means dealing with people's opinions of me and what I am. Don't get me wrong, I don't care what people think, what I'm scared of is losing my temper around bitchy girl's and guy's who are only after one thing. I'm just scared I will end up killing someone.
