People can see things differently, even if they're thinking about the same event.

Author's note: The following excerpts may not be in chronological order, but are close, and are meant simply to capture different time periods and characters encompassing many centuries. These entries are not meant to be fully historically accurate and are supposed to have some comedic value. This was originally done for a college English project--yes, I did Hetalia fanfic for an assignment--but I was proud of it and felt I did decent writing it. It is mainly from the perspective of Greece's mother, with references to other ancients and Greece. It follows several points in history with focus on the culture and arts of the time. Obviously, Ancient Greece is not a main character, and there is ver y little canon information on her. so this is mostly just my interpretation of the character, sort of as an OC, but with actual historical facts and cultural details, so I followed the true Hetalia style. There is enough real facts (it was after all for an assignment)I have labeled it as historical fiction

Sadik is dared to tell Heracles he likes him before Sadik moves to college.

Six days until he comes home, he said. Until the soldiers are released and can return to their families after a long war against China. He said, in his letter, "I'll see you in six days. I love you." Those simple words leaving Kiku with frantic anxiety as he paces his home, the minutes turning to long hours as he waits for Heracles to walk through that door. Six days of waiting and loneliness which he had spend four years indulged in while the war kept his beloved from coming back. If only time was as painless as it seemed.

So this was what it felt like... to care for someone so deeply. The ghost of a smile passed my lips. Caring was going to kill me and all these symptoms were proof. Welcome to the counting sheep series.

Summer's finally rolled around, and Japan is finally ready to be witnessed in all of its beauty and glory. With the Japanese gardens finally reopening and the cherry blossom trees coming back from dormancy, who wouldn't want to witness Japan? Heracles Karpusi did, and with one of his good pals Kiku Honda. However, his visit that was originally meant for seeing Japan and hanging out with Kiku turned in to something much more, and it all happened under the cherry blossom trees.

In which Heracles and Sadik suddenly see each other in a very different light.
