A stolen legend, a lost history, an idea allowed to take shape. I feel as though I'm taking inspiration from some culture's folklore but have long forgotten which one. If you guys know, please let me as well.

Every scratch a little less remains. how many does it take before there is nothing left? the human body kind of binds itself together to continue on until it doesn't have the energy to. but what of a species that gave up that ability for wings? how high can they fly before the nicks and cuts become too much? This is the story of how several of these people tried to fly higher and how pride comes before the fall As someone coming into this with little experience, there will be a lot of things for me to work on, and I would like to get people's criticism.
