I wrote most of these when I was in a really dark time in my life it felt like I was drowning and sinking but now I finally learned how to float and breathe again. When I look back at these mistakes and this undescribable pain, I like to still write about it even though I don't feel like that anymore, it helps assure me that I won't put myself through it again. Even though I'm getting better I decided to make this anyways because it feels good to let your emotions out and I let mine out through poetry and sometimes it feels even better to let your emotions out to other people. So, that's what I'm doing. I'm writing how I feel thats kind of what poetry is all about, right? ---------------------------- Started: May 17th, 2023 Ended: December 21st, 2023

One of my neighbours recently told me her husband won't emotionally support her, and that she wants me to. I said no, which went down terribly.

This is letters to a young poet by Rainer Maria Rilke (Translation by M. D. Herter Norton.) This book was first published in 1929. This is obviously not my own work, all credits belong to the author. This book consists of ten letters, written by famed poet Rainer Maria Rilke, to a Young Poet who initially sought him out for writing advice, but ended up learning a great deal about life. The letters encourage the Young Poet to develop an understanding of, and connection, to his inner creative soul. Note: This was posted for educational purposes only.
