This girl found out something very weird and confusing about this boy. After meeting his friends something happens to her. A herd is a family that travels together, protects one another, and for a while it was all she ever wanted. After all, she had spent most of her life seeking a way out of every cramp and awkward foster home, with the means to navigate the world on her own. But realistically, a teenager can't survive on her own. For a while she accepted her fate to fill in the role of a foster child, lost and anxious, with her walls all the way up, just so she can live in the security that people will provide her basic needs to live. But this herd protected her and looked out for her, and naturally, she let her guard down and depended on them. A family, finally, but a family filled with deceit and secrets. So much so that it became like she was in hiding amongst this herd of liars. So she left without another thought. She trusted many, but she left with only hatred for them in her heart, even including for the man she once thought was someone more trusting than the rest. And no matter how much arrogance and stubbornness he displays to those around him, everyone knows. Everyone knows someone was able to break Hobie Brown. Everyone knows his free-spirited self was able to intertwine with another. Everyone knows Hobie Brown has a weakness, and that weakness considers him just another filthy liar of the herd.

Miles Morales has changed over the last couple years. With the death of his father, he has become cold, calloused, and apathetic... that is, unless he's with you, his childhood best friend. It's always been known he's had a soft spot for you, ever since you both met, but ever since the beginning of High School, things were... different, to say the least. This is a friends to lovers slow burn fanfic, purely fluff, with a bit of angst in certain chapters. There also may be some certain scenes where it is suggestive, but there will be no smut. There will be violence, mentions of death, and there will be warnings before each chapter to warn. I am trying to fight against writer's block, so I decided to write about Dimension 42 Miles because he's pretty. I will try to update weekly (maybe twice a week), but I tend to get distracted, so I will try my best. Alright, hope you guys enjoy!
