We all live in Kaliyuga, the age of darkness. So, naturally, we have lost an immeasurable part of our ancient knowledge. As a consequence of all this, people unknowingly live in a state of ignorance. Today, people recognise Lord Ganesha only as the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
