Wilbur was tired of being a hero. He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn't enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family. Wilbur lived in Techno's shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn't sure how much more he could take. He wanted to be seen for who he was. He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else's story. Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis. A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival. His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain. He had met the hero once, and that was all it took. The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point. That, is why Quackity chose him. Wilbur Minecraft was going to fall soon, and he was going to fall hard. And Quackity would be right there waiting, ready to catch his songbird when he did. But nothing's truly perfect, and over the years his family broke apart along with his sanity. By the time he was 27, he had lost all hope in the world, nearly blowing up a motel and himself. Before he could, he broke down and was sent to a mental institution nicknamed Limbo. . . . Alex never knew his birth family, he was too young to remember them. When he was 3 he was placed into a foster system where 4 years later he was adopted by his foster fathers, Sam and Ponk. They already had a son, George, and Alex loved him, they got along really well (at least that's what Quackity thought) When he started High school he fell madly in love with an older boy, Johnathan, although he preferred Schlatt. The two dated for a few years, Alex growing more and more aware of who he was dating, he ended up leaving the man and 3 years later taking in his son after Schlatt died of a heart attack. . . . On Wilbur's 13th year in the institution, he was sure he would just be stuck in this Limbo, left to wait until he finally died, no one could help him and it seemed that no one wanted to help him.
