Varian gets harmed badly before Rapunzel, Eugene and Cassandra arrived in Old Corona to help him get the graphtic but discovered Varian very badly abused and serious injured because of the iron masked men. When Rapunzel looked to see what happened to Varian's arm she can believe that her father would allow this to happen while Varian was under house arrest.

While Rapunzel and her friends were on their journey to the Dark Kingdom King Frederic had far worse plans for Varian to the point of not letting him leave with all his body parts! How will Rapunzel and her friends react when they discover what Queen Arianna shows them what King Frederic, Nigel and Captain of the guards and other guards had been doing to Varian!

Rapunzel witnesses nightmarish visions of Varian every night! These visions drive Rapunzel of sleep, jump scares in the real world, talking to herself, and screaming in fear when she sees the real Varian.

Rapunzel returns home to discover horrorifying truth behind what happened to Varian after she left. Frederic didn't keep his promise and let Varian get tortured by Nigel and Captain of the guards and she loses her mind and refuses to help him after Frederic spikes her drink with a potion causing her to by hateful towards Varian.
