Hello everyone! So this is by no means my book. I'm just posting it for myself and those that might need it for classes or just entertainment. All credit goes to Jane Austen. I don't know why but it's always easier to read on Wattpad rather than the actual book. Hahahaha I hope this becomes of some use to you :)

In the quiet woods of Abbeville, South Carolina, something watches. Leigh returns home to care for a sick relative, unaware that the land she once explored as a child hides dark secrets. Childhood memories of her friends Kane and Clay, mysterious disappearances, and whispers of local legend converge as she discovers the truth: the forest is alive with forces beyond human comprehension. The Ridge Walker, a massive and enigmatic guardian of the land's hidden triangle, stirs. Strange vibrations, shadows that move on their own, and the hum of ancient stones pull Leigh toward a terrifying discovery-one that connects the fates of Kane, Clay, and herself. As the line between reality and the unknown blurs, Leigh must navigate a web of superstition, town secrets, and interdimensional forces to survive. The Ridge Walker is a slow-burning, atmospheric horror story of dread, mystery, and the unseen forces that guard the edges of our world.
