Copyright © 2025 Maysa has always lived between worlds - the daughter of an Arab father and a Nigerian mother, raised in a home that looked perfect from the outside but was already breaking behind closed doors. From an early age, she learns what it means to be too much of one thing and never enough of another. After her father's death, the space between those worlds only widens. Rejected where she expects comfort and misunderstood where she seeks belonging, Maysa grows up carrying quiet losses, complicated family ties, and questions she's never been allowed to ask out loud. As she steps into adulthood, she is forced to confront what she's been taught about love, loyalty, faith, and womanhood - and what she actually believes. In a world where tradition speaks loudly and girls are expected to endure silently, she must decide who she is beyond survival. Then she meets Faruk - steady, patient, and unexpectedly gentle with the parts of her she keeps hidden. With him, Maysa begins to question whether love has to be painful, and whether softness can exist without loss. Maysa is a coming-of-age story rooted in culture, family, and faith. It explores identity, belonging, and the slow, fragile process of choosing yourself without losing where you come from. Soft, emotional, and deeply human, this is a story about a girl learning that strength doesn't always look like resistance - sometimes it looks like becoming. "A marriage neither of them chose. A chemistry they can't ignore. And a fate neither of them can escape." "You're avoiding me." Yusra froze, fingers tightening around the silk scarf. She didn't turn. "I'm not." Fahad scoffed. "You barely look at me. You barely speak to me." "Maybe there's nothing to say." He stepped closer, his voice low. "You've been acting like I don't exist since the conveyance. If you have a problem, say it." Yusra turned, chin lifted. "Why would I? It's not like you care." His jaw tightened. "You think I don't?" "You don't act like it." Silence. Heavy, charged. Then, before she could move, his fingers brushed hers-a fleeting touch, but enough to send a jolt of heat through her. She inhaled sharply. "You think I don't care? Since when?" His voice was rough, edged with something dangerous. He leaned in, forcing her to look up. "Then tell me why you're shaking." She wasn't. At least, she didn't think she was. But now, with his touch lingering, she wasn't so sure. Fahad's gaze flickered to her parted lips before he pulled back, his restraint like a thread about to snap. "You don't want me to care, Yusra," he murmured. "Because if I do, neither of us will be able to stop what happens next." And just like that, he walked away-leaving her breathless, rattled, and desperate to understand why she suddenly wanted him to turn back.

Copyright © 2024. All Rights Reserved. It wasn't how she could never seem to pronounce his name, "Qasim," correctly, always calling him "Kasim" since she was young. Nor was it her innocence, which seemed to follow her everywhere, highlighted by her delicate Fulani features that could be recognized from miles away. It was her, entirely. Her very existence was the axis upon which Amir Qasim's life revolved. But when that axis was removed, his world was thrown into chaos. Being born the eldest child of the Sultan wasn't his choice, nor was becoming the next Sultan, burdened with immense responsibilities. Yet he accepted it, carrying those duties he so deeply resented. Becoming the next Sultan's wife wasn't her choice either, nor was becoming the eldest Princess of the Kubi Caliphate. So why was she forced to bear the brunt of the grudge he harbored within? Why did she have to endure the short end of the stick? From the moment she stepped into the world of royalty, she knew the path would be hard-fought. But she wasn't willing to lose. Why should she? She harbors the same hatred towards him. However, there is a saying, "The more you hate, the more you love." By Ferdeausee.

When Mohammed Dangote and Mariya Dantata met, the questions people asked were if and when they'd ever get together. From stolen glances and hidden smiles to nervous confessions and bashful laughter, theirs was a love story that bloomed in the most beautiful but heart-wrenching ways; a love that gave as much as it took. Years later, their son - Nasir Mohammed Dangote - is finding love of his own in the eyes of Atika Dambatta. Intrigued and drawn towards her by a force he can't quite explain, Nasir decides to follow his heart. Their first proper meeting in her parents' living room makes two things clear to him; that he has found the woman he wants to marry, and he's never been readier to settle down, as long as she's the woman by his side. Together, they build a family with the faith that life would only get better. However, just as life had different plans for Mohammed and Mariya, fate has much in store for Nasir and Atika, and they would have to learn that sometimes life throws the most unplanned events at you; not to necessarily break you, but to make you so much better than you would have ever dreamed. (P.S. This is a love story spread across generations. It is just not the straightforward one you are expecting)

"Kiyi Hakuri," he began, his voice soft and soothing. "Whatever befalls a person is by Allah's will. Destiny is predetermined, and no one can escape their fate. This, Tasnim, is yours." Abbu's pause hung heavy with emotion before he continued, "I want you to accept this with an open mind and heart. And, my dear, I am truly sorry." Tasnim's fingers intertwined, her knuckles whitening as she struggled to process her father's words. Tasnim's lips trembled as she sensed the shift in the air. Trepidation siphons through her being. Why is her father apologizing to her. Is it because he had married Fadila off to the man that broke her heart or what. If it's that she believes he doesn't need to apologize. She has given up. It has become too late for her, there is nothing she can do now but to be patient and accept her qadr.... ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Read and find out

Aisha grew up longing for a mother's love, but her reality was far from kind. Raised in a household where warmth was scarce and expectations ran high, her mother's harsh words and cold heart left scars deeper than anyone could see. Every dream Aisha held onto-of education, of freedom, of a life she could choose-was dismissed, crushed under the weight of tradition and control. When Aisha is forced into an arranged marriage with Bashir, a man she has never met, her world feels like it's collapsing again. All she sees is another prison, another chapter written without her consent. But Bashir isn't what she expected. Gentle, patient, and quietly understanding, he sees the pain she tries to hide and offers her something she's never truly known-respect. As time passes, Aisha begins to question everything she believed about love, marriage, and herself. In the most unlikely place, she finds not just safety, but the beginning of healing. Aisha's Promise is a powerful story of resilience, love found in unexpected places, and the courage to rewrite your destiny-even when the world tries to write it for you.
