His Norse is cracked, and he usually speaks in the language of the dragons, Krokonja. Among the dragons, his name is Songbird the Savior, for all the good he has done. The dragons are his kin, and he will do anything to protect them, even if it means giving up his own life. So when he crashes upon a strange land, he immediately knows he has to hide Toothless from the inhabitants of the island. If you've made it this far, then congratulations! Since Berkians can remember, every person in the teenage years will gain the ability to shapeshift into their spirit animal. You don't know what age you'll gain the ability exactly but it always happens in your teens. Throughout Berkian history, not one Viking has ever had a dragon as their spiritual form. From what I'm guessing it's because Vikings loath dragons so much, hating dragons is part of their personality so it makes no sense for a dragon loathing Viking to be a dragon. I wonder what would happen if a Berkian turned into a dragon? Third Person POV

He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions.
