Seeing them as small children, he sees more use in them. So he turns them into half demons. They will still age, (mostly because he doesn't want to have to deal with toddlers for eternity) even if it is at a slower rate. However, even though he decides to turn Tanjiro and Nezuko into little half demons, he doesn't want to actually raise these two. He's a busy man, he doesn't want to deal with kids. So who of the upper moons would be best? Probably the guy who basically raised his sister anyway- Gyutaro! So that's the basic premise of the AU. Still brainstorming it with a friend, but I thought it was a fun idea. _____________
